A modular System that smoothly supports and stabilizes your DV Camera, while acting as a frame to mount all the accessories, including zoom controllers, mics, mixers, lights, monitors, arms, etc. While it's design is non traditional, it is purely simple and effective. It consists of a circular frame with a crossbar for mounting most mini DV cameras. It has a padded hand grip for comfort and security even in extreme environments. Four included cable clips maintain all your wires wrapped neatly around the rig and out of your shot. Additional accessory mounting is available with the camera bar's threaded holes, featuring a 1/4", 3/8" and 5/8" hole, to meet all your needs. When using the Fig Rig on a flat surface such as a table or floor, an incorporated non-slip rubber pad provides you with stability. A 501PL sliding QR plate allows you to position & balance your camera. A variety of Manfrotto plate assemblies which interchange, allow you the flexibility to match all your individual systems needs. An optional 595CLA converts the Fig Rig frame into a fully-loaded roving cine rig which will precisely position your mic or monitor anywhere around your camera. Adding on a Manfrotto 521 Series remote control offers you total fingertip control of zoom and focus as well.
